A 5 hectares old vines bloc on a clay-limestone terroir totally selected specially for this wine – 3rd terrace of Lot Valley.
Very low yield, 1,3 kg of grape-plant – 30 Hl/ha.
Maceration takes place during 40 days.
The wine is ageing during 24 months in new oak barrels with regular stirring of the lees (for 6 month).
Wine-maturing in 100% new oak barrels issued from the center area of France. The aim of using barrels from different origins is to highlight the terroir expression but also the Lamartine style: more concentration than extraction.
From 4 to 20 years.
To serve between 17° and 18°C.
