90% Malbec, 10% Merlot
Vine-plants aged from 20 to 35 years,
Yield 50 Hl/ha
Traditional method in stainless steel tanks, temperature controlled to 30°C at 32°C at the end of fermentation.
Ageing in cement tanks until the following spring. During 1 year, 15% of the volume stays in small oak barrels and 15% of the volume stays in large oak barrels. Bottling from 18 months after the harvest.
Light red color, strong nose, light woody smell with slight hint of liquorice and little red smashed fruits. Strong but not harsh taste.
Matures very well.
To drink from 4 to 7 years
To serve between 17° and 19°C.
To drink with all grilled meats.
