Grape varieties

90% Malbec, 10% Merlot


Vines from 10 to 20 years on clay-siliceous (30%), clay-limestone (50%) and limestone (20%) terroir – 2nd, 3rd and 4th terrace of Lot Valley.
Yield 50 Hl/ha.


Traditional method in stainless steel tanks, temperature controlled to 30°C at the end of fermentation to  preserve the freshness of the fruit.


Ageing in cement tanks until the following spring. Then, ageing in small oak barrels and oak vats for 30% of the volume during one year. Bottling in the next spring, from 18 months after the harvest.

Tasting notes

Under a cherry burlat color, a bouquet of ripe fruit mixes with vanilla and slightly liquorice aromas. This wine is combining a well maturity and freshness ; it appears racy by its concentration but it is gentle by its gourmet taste.

Laying-down potential

To drink from 4 to 7 years

Service temperature

To serve between 17° and 19°C.
It is perfect with red meat, duck breast, lamb and cheese.
