In the early 2010s, our parents were interested in a property where they grow a lot of white varieties. But the sale fell through after the notarized document had been signed. But the idea of a white wine had been born... And in 2012, they acquired this limestone hilltop, as an extension of our reds. Its north-easterly exposure suggests that it would be the ideal place for our whites.

Benjamin returned in 2013, and we started planting in 2014. He left to explore New Zealand and then Australia, where he had the opportunity to vinify the grape varieties we had planted. Seeing the extraordinary potential of this terroir, we pulled up the Merlot vines and replanted an additional 80 ares of Chardonnay and Chenin in 2022.

2016 was our first vintage, but 2023 is our first Grand: a fine harvest in terms of volume, but above all the balance we were looking for: seductive fruitiness with a fresh opulence! So charmed, we aged in oak some of the Chenins and Chardonnays on fine lees for 12 months. The result is the toasty, citrus notes characteristic of great Chardonnays and a Chenin that's chiselled, graphite and taut. Because of that huge potential, we decide to make the Grands Blancs, in very limited editions. Naturally, they are named as their red namesake: Expression !
